It would be impossible to give back what these places have given me, but I hope that expressing my experiences and discoveries on the maps of the very places I have been, using their roads, rivers, borders, contours, mountains, sites and the rest to guide my pencils and pen, can transfer some of the grandeur that has enriched me for so long.
