Along with Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, Paul Klee and Paul Gaugin, Auguste Rodin has fascinated me since my first stirrings into art. There are several things that I have travelled the world specifically to see, and the Burghers of Calais was chief among these.

It did not disappoint.
