Wildestaghorn

The wildebeest (connochaeles taurinus) is so brutally ugly it becomes beautiful - although teasingly hard to draw. It’s juxtaposition here with a staghorn fern (platycerium grande) leads to something that suggests a heavy metal album cover.
I have no idea why.
